Day 3: Week Two, Fresh Starts, and Chasing Big Energy

Monday mornings can go one of two ways. You either let the weekend drag you down, or you lace up your runners and set the tone for the entire week.

Today marks the official start of Week 2, and honestly, the shift in my mindset is already feeling huge. I’ve made a hard commitment to myself: for the next four weeks, no excuses, no ghosting my own goals. We are moving this body, period.

Here’s how Monday kicked off the new week!

The Morning Sweat: Treadmills, Bikes, and Pure Motivation

I hit the gym early to beat the Monday morning sluggishness before setting into the rest of my day. I started off with a solid 5km "Hot Girl Walk" on the treadmill incline up, head high, just getting into the rhythm and letting my legs warm up. There is something so satisfying about getting those kilometers under your belt before the rest of the world has even finished their first coffee.

After stepping off the treadmill, I hopped straight onto the exercise bike to tack on another 6km.

To keep my mind off the burn, I plugged in my headphones and pressed play on the newest episode of Pass Around the Smile. Guys, I swear this podcast is carrying me through this journey. It inspires me on a whole different level every single day. It’s been a massive reminder lately that it is 100% okay to have ups and downs.

Progress isn't a straight line

some days you feel like a machine, and other days you're just dragging yourself across the finish line. Accepting the messy middle has made this whole process feel so much lighter.

Shift Work, Big Dreams, and Bringing Back the Fun

Sweating it out on the bike today got the creative juices flowing in a big way. Right now, I’m working hard as a nurse, and while caring for others is in my blood, shift work can take an absolute toll on your body and energy.

I’m putting a massive vision out into the universe right now: I am manifesting that this blog, my podcast, and content creation become my full-time career, so nursing can take a back seat as a casual gig.

Feeling those post-workout endorphins kick in made me realize just how much I miss creating content purely for the joy of it. I’m genuinely itching to jump back into recording fresh podcast episodes, posting fun Instagram reels, and making those wonderfully silly, unfiltered TikToks. Fitness and life don't have to be so serious all the time, and if we can't laugh at ourselves while sweating through our shirts, what’s the point?

Quick question for everyone following along: What would you love to see more of as I navigate this journey?

  • More workout routines and raw gym check-ins?

  • Behind-the-scenes nurse life updates and mindsets?

  • Just straight-up chaotic, funny reels?

Drop straight into my Insta DMs and let me know—I want to bring you along for every single part of this ride!

Week 2 is officially underway. The suncream is packed (lesson learned from Saturday!), the body is moving, and the energy is high. Let's smash this week together !
